Digital RPG with strategy elements

Gorky 17 is a downloadable PC game delivered as a Steam activation code. It blends adventure, role-playing and tactical combat into a single sci-fi experience. The title suits players who enjoy narrative-driven missions and turn-based squad management.

2000 release with modest requirements

The game launched on 31 January 2000 and runs on hardware from that era. Modern systems handle its 3D environments and weather effects without difficulty. Steam account registration is mandatory before the code can be redeemed and played.

Low thermal load on current hardware

Because the engine targets year-2000 specifications, CPU and GPU utilisation remains minimal during play. Fan speeds stay quiet and power draw is negligible compared to contemporary titles. No additional cooling considerations are needed for any desktop or laptop.

Questions about this item

Will this Steam code work on my older Windows PC that still runs XP?

The game released on 31 January 2000 and requires a Steam account to activate; Steam itself dropped XP support years later, so you will need a Windows version still supported by the Steam client.

How do I verify the code activated correctly after I redeem it?

Open the Steam client, go to your Library, and confirm Gorky 17 appears with the status Ready to Install or Up to Date.

Does the purchase include a physical disc or only the digital key?

Packaging is download only; you receive a Steam code and must provide your own internet connection and Steam account — no disc, manual or box is supplied.
