Smart Recessed Lighting 4-Pack

This four-pack of 4-inch LED downlights combines RGB colour mixing with tunable white from 2000K to 5000K. Each 8W unit replaces a 40W incandescent and connects directly to a 2.4GHz Wi-Fi network without a separate hub. Voice commands through Alexa, Google Assistant or Siri adjust colour, brightness and schedules from anywhere in the home.

Sustained Operation Characteristics

The fixtures are rated for wet locations so they maintain performance in bathrooms, covered patios or other damp areas. Dimming operates smoothly from 1% to 100% through the app, avoiding the flicker that can appear at low levels with basic dimmers. A memory function restores the last scene automatically after a power interruption.

Pre-Installation Checklist

Verify that each mounting location has a standard junction box and 120V 60Hz supply wiring. The system requires a 2.4GHz Wi-Fi signal reaching at least 65.62 ft from the router to the furthest light. Music-sync effects rely on a smartphone microphone, so the controlling device must be on the same network during use.

Questions about this item

How much heat or noise does the 8W 120V downlight produce when left on all day?

At 8W the fixture runs cool and silent; no fan or moving parts are present, so continuous operation adds negligible heat and zero audible noise.

What must I already own for the 2.4GHz Wi-Fi smart features to work?

A 2.4GHz Wi-Fi network, a smartphone for the companion app, and a standard 120V junction box for each of the four lights.

Will the 1%-100% app dimming and RGB+CCT control function alongside my older non-smart switches?

Yes, the lights retain the last setting after a power cut, so a legacy wall switch simply acts as on/off while the app handles colour and dimming.
