Smart Recessed Lighting Kit

This 4-pack of 6-inch smart downlights fits standard recessed housings and connects to 2.4GHz Wi-Fi for app and voice control. Each unit draws 12W while replacing a 60W equivalent, delivering RGB+CCT output from 2000K to 5000K with over 16 million colour options. The lights are wet-location rated for bathrooms and covered outdoor soffits.

2.4GHz Wi-Fi and Voice Limits

Control requires a 2.4GHz network; 5GHz bands are not supported. Music sync and colour scenes run through the smartphone app using the phone microphone, as the downlights have no built-in mic or speaker. Voice commands work with Alexa, Google Assistant and Siri once the skill or shortcut is linked, but remote range is listed at 65.62 ft line-of-sight.

Pre-Install Checks

Verify the ceiling cut-out matches a 6-inch housing and that the junction box supplied meets local code for the install location. Confirm a neutral wire is present at each switch box if you plan to keep wall-switch control alongside app dimming. Ensure your router broadcasts a 2.4GHz SSID and that the install sites fall within the stated remote range.

Questions about this item

Should I pick the 4-pack or buy single units for my project?

The product is sold only as a 4-pack of 12 W RGBCW downlights; each unit covers the same 6-inch cut-out and shares the 2.4 GHz Wi-Fi link, so one pack gives you four identical zones.

What does the 12 W rating actually deliver in my ceiling?

Each 12 W module replaces a 60 W incandescent and produces tunable white from 2000 K to 5000 K plus full RGB, all dimmable from 1 % to 100 % through the app.

How far does the 2.4 GHz Wi-Fi reach from my router to the lights?

The manufacturer rates the wireless control range at 65.62 ft; the lights need a 120 V 60 Hz supply and a standard junction box for installation.
