Compact 120-277V Photocontrol Sensor

The Tork ZSSP124 is a swivel-mount photocontrol designed for industrial and commercial lighting circuits operating between 120 and 277 volts AC. It switches compact fluorescent, HID, inductive and LED loads up to 2,220 watts with a 15 amp incandescent or 8 amp ballast rating. The grey polycarbonate housing carries UL listing and meets ANSI standards for outdoor use.

Conduit Mount With Swivel Adjustment

Installation uses the included conduit fitting and the integral swivel allows the sensor head to be aimed after the base is secured. Wiring is a simple SPST contact form, but the 2 inch by 2 3/4 inch by 4 1/4 inch body requires sufficient space inside the junction box or fixture. Over-tightening the locknut can crack the polycarbonate housing, so hand-tight plus a quarter turn is the practical limit.

Stable Switching From -40 to 158 Degrees F

The unit turns on at 1.5 foot-candles and off at 2.25 foot-candles, providing a fixed hysteresis that prevents relay chatter during twilight transitions. This behaviour remains consistent across the full rated temperature span of -40 to 158 degrees Fahrenheit. The sensor is not suited for applications requiring adjustable time delays, multi-level dimming or networked scheduling.
