Torpedo Level Magnetic 9 Inch

This magnetic torpedo level is built for tradespeople and DIY users who need quick alignment checks on metal surfaces. The lightweight aluminium body measures 24.7 cm long and 4.7 cm wide, making it easy to carry in a tool belt or pocket.

Replaces Spirit Level Vials

It upgrades from traditional bubble vials that can stick or fog, offering a magnetic base that clamps to pipework and steel framing. The jump is worth it when you work solo on vertical or overhead metal and need both hands free.

Sustained Site Use

The sealed vial resists dust and moisture during long days on site, while the aluminium frame shrugs off knocks without bending. At 0.132 kg it adds negligible weight, so fatigue stays low even after hours of continuous leveling.

Questions about this item

How much clearance does the 24.7 cm length need in a tool bag?

The level measures 24.7 cm long, 4.7 cm wide and 0.1 cm high, so it fits in most standard tool pouches or pockets.

What surface must be clean for the magnetic base to hold?

Wipe ferrous metal surfaces free of oil, paint or rust before placing the level; the magnetic strip runs the full 24.7 cm length for maximum grip.

When should the vials be checked for accuracy?

Verify the three vials after any drop or heavy impact; the aluminum frame resists bending but a sharp knock can shift the fluid.
