Toshiba DMD/DLP Chip for XP1U XP2U TDP-XP1 TDP-XP2 TDP-PX10 projector accessory

Genuine OEM DMD/DLP Replacement Chip

This genuine OEM DMD/DLP chip replaces the imaging component in Toshiba XP1U, XP2U, TDP-XP1, TDP-XP2 and TDP-PX10 projectors. It is supplied new and has been extensively tested at least three times to confirm a clear image with no dead pixels. Installers can use it to restore full display function when the original chip fails.

Practical Limits of the Imaging Component

The chip is a direct mechanical and electrical match for the listed models, so no adapter or firmware change is required. Photos in the listing are illustrative only; the actual unit may show cosmetic marks or scratches in areas that do not affect the optical path. Buyers who need a different resolution or a chip for another projector series cannot use this part.

Upgrade From a Failed or Degraded Chip

This part replaces a DMD/DLP chip that has developed dead pixels, stuck mirrors or colour artefacts. The jump is worth it when the projector optics and electronics are otherwise sound and a new projector would cost significantly more. It is not for buyers who want higher brightness, a different native resolution or a chip compatible with other brands.
