Bamboo Salt Cellar for Home Cooks

The Totally Bamboo 20-2189 stores up to 6 ounces of salt, herbs or spices in a compact 3.5 in by 3.5 in footprint. Its magnetic swivel lid opens with one hand so seasoning stays within reach while cooking. The natural bamboo construction adds a renewable, lightweight accent to the countertop.

Hand-Wash Only Constraint

The bamboo material is not dishwasher safe and must be cleaned by hand to preserve the finish. Microwave use is not supported, and the supplier notes freezer safety only in general sustainability terms. This limits the cellar to dry, room-temperature storage on the work surface.

6 Ounce Capacity Decides Fit

The 6 ounce volume determines whether the cellar holds your preferred gourmet salt or spice blend without frequent refills. The 2.75 in height accommodates coarse crystals, but buyers needing bulk storage will find the capacity too small.

Volume Capacity Determines Suitability

The 6 ounce capacity is the single specification that decides whether this cellar matches your storage needs. It holds a practical amount of table salt, kosher salt, or specialty blends for daily cooking without constant refilling. Buyers who keep larger quantities of seasoning on hand will find the volume insufficient for their workflow.
