Ultra-Slim Cooling Pad for Laptops

The Toughmate TM-2 C302 is a lightweight laptop cooler built for users who need portable heat management. Two 4.93 inch fans run at 1300 RPM to move air across a metal mesh surface. A hinged non-slip baffle keeps the notebook stable during use. The pad weighs 1.09 lb and measures 14.2 in by 10.43 in by 1 in, sliding easily into a backpack.

Sustained Airflow with Dual Fans

Under continuous load the pair of quiet fans maintains steady airflow without the drop-off seen in single-fan designs. The 1300 RPM motors push a larger air volume across the full metal mesh, helping to keep temperatures stable during long work or gaming sessions. USB composite power draws from the laptop while a second USB port remains free for peripherals.

Upgrade from Basic Stands or Single-Fan Pads

This cooler replaces flat passive stands and older single-fan units that cannot match the dual-fan air volume. The jump is worth it when the notebook runs hot enough to throttle during extended use. Buyers who need active cooling for larger desktop-replacement laptops beyond the 14.2 in footprint should look elsewhere.

Questions about this item

How loud are the two 4.93 inch fans when the pad runs continuously at 1300 RPM?

The manufacturer describes the fans as quiet and states they will not disturb you during heat dissipation, with each fan spinning at 1300 RPM.

Does the extra USB port on the TM-2 require my laptop to have a spare USB-A socket to power both the cooler and another device?

Yes, the pad draws power through one USB-A connection and provides a second USB-A port for peripherals, so your laptop needs at least one free USB-A port.

Will the 14.2 by 10.43 inch metal mesh and flip-up baffle hold a heavier legacy notebook steady at the two height settings?

The strong metal mesh supports the laptop weight and the hinged baffle prevents sliding, while two adjustable height angles give a stable typing position.
