Large King Craft Ice Mold for Spirits

The Tovolo Large King Craft Ice Mold is a BPA-free silicone freezer tray designed for home bars and kitchens. It produces six extra-large 2-inch square cubes that melt slowly, preserving the flavour of whiskey, bourbon and other spirits. The candy-apple coloured tray measures 6.25 inches long by 4.5 inches wide by 2 inches high.

Practical Limits of Silicone Ice Trays

Silicone trays flex for easy cube release but can wobble when carried to the freezer, so a flat support underneath is advisable. The material is food-safe for freezing yet not intended for oven or stovetop use. Each cavity yields a single 2-inch cube, limiting output to six pieces per freeze cycle. Long-term freezer storage may cause the silicone to absorb odours if not sealed.
