Smart Plug 4-Pack 15A 125V

This pack contains four TP-LINK 30153 smart plugs rated at 15A 125V 60Hz 1875W each. They suit homeowners who want to control lamps, fans or small appliances remotely without a separate hub. Each unit connects directly to a secured 2.4 GHz Wi-Fi network and works with Alexa and Google Assistant voice commands.

Setup process and common issues

Installation is straightforward: plug each unit into an outlet, download the KMC Smart app on an Android or iOS device and follow the in-app steps. The main stumbling block is attempting to join a 5 GHz network; the plugs only support 2.4 GHz, so the phone must be on the same band during pairing. A weak Wi-Fi signal at the outlet location can also cause setup to fail.

Compatibility checks before ordering

Verify that your router broadcasts a 2.4 GHz SSID with WPA2 security and that the outlet you plan to use can supply 125V 60Hz power. Confirm the total load of connected devices will not exceed 1875W per plug. Ensure you have a smartphone or tablet running Android or iOS for the initial configuration and ongoing control.

Questions about this item

How can I confirm the 30153 smart plug is working after I plug it in?

The KMC Smart app will show the device as online and let you toggle the outlet on or off; the plug also responds to Alexa or Google Assistant voice commands once linked.

What comes in the box and what must I provide separately?

The pack contains four smart plugs; you must supply a secured 2.4 GHz Wi-Fi network and a smartphone running Android or iOS to complete setup.

Which version of the 30153 should I choose for a 15 A 125 V circuit?

This model is rated 15 A, 125 V, 60 Hz and 1875 W, matching standard North American outlets, so the single listed version covers that requirement.
