Tri-band Wi-Fi 5 router delivering up to 1625 Mbps on each 5 GHz band and 750 Mbps on 2.4 GHz, powered by a 1.8 GHz quad-core CPU with MU-MIMO, RangeBoost, beamforming.
The Archer C4000 is a new AC4000-class router built for households running many simultaneous streams, gaming sessions and smart-home devices. Its 1.8 GHz quad-core processor keeps throughput steady when dozens of clients are active. The six external antennas and RangeBoost beamforming extend reliable coverage across larger floor plans. It suits users who want a single unit that balances wired and wireless performance without adding mesh nodes.
This router delivers up to 1625 Mbps on each of its two 5 GHz radios and 750 Mbps on the 2.4 GHz band. Smart Connect automatically steers each device to the clearest band so aggregate throughput stays high. MU-MIMO and Airtime Fairness let multiple clients transmit at once without one heavy stream starving the others. Link Aggregation can combine two LAN ports for a 2 Gbps wired link to a compatible NAS or switch.
The unit operates from 0 to 40 °C (32 to 104 °F) on a 100-240 V AC supply, drawing only modest power thanks to the efficient quad-core design. Passive cooling keeps noise at zero, so the router is silent on a desk or shelf. Six LEDs show band activity and port status at a glance, and a dedicated button turns them off for dark rooms. USB 2.0 and 3.0 ports add printer or storage sharing without extra heat.
