2-in-1 Outdoor Wireless Outlet Kit

The TP-LINK BHC1816U-2RF provides two weatherproof outlets controlled by a single handheld remote, letting homeowners switch lights, heaters or holiday decorations on and off from up to 100 feet away without any app or hub setup.

15 A Dual 3-Prong Rating

Each outlet supports a 15 amp load on standard North American 3-prong plugs, so the kit can safely power high-draw appliances such as air conditioners or audio systems alongside lighter loads like string lights or phone chargers.

Remote Included, No Hub Needed

The package supplies the remote control with batteries already fitted, enabling immediate plug-and-play operation and the ability to sync multiple kits together for whole-garden control without configuring Wi-Fi or voice assistants.

Questions about this item

What does the 15A rating mean for the devices I can plug into this outlet?

The outlet is rated for 15 amps, so it can handle standard household appliances such as lights, heaters, air conditioners and holiday decorations up to that limit.

How does the 100 ft wireless range perform in a typical home or garden?

The remote works up to 100 ft in open space; walls, metal objects or heavy foliage will reduce the effective distance.

What space is needed to mount the weatherproof outlet housing?

The unit measures 72 inches in total length and should be installed at least 2 feet off the ground with the plug facing downwards.
