An 11-port desktop switch with eight 10/100 Mbps PoE+ ports and three Gigabit uplinks for powering access points or cameras
The TP-Link DS111P is an 8-port 10/100Mbps plus 3-port Gigabit desktop switch with 8-port PoE+ support. It suits small offices or home networks needing to power IP cameras, access points, or VoIP phones without separate injectors. The compact desktop form factor fits on a shelf or desk. Managed features are available through the Omada platform.
Eight ports operate at 10/100Mbps, which caps throughput at 100Mbps per connected device. This bandwidth is sufficient for typical PoE endpoints such as cameras and phones but not for high-speed file transfers or modern NAS access. Only three ports provide Gigabit uplink speeds for backbone connections. Plan device placement around this split.
This switch replaces unmanaged 10/100Mbps switches that lack power delivery, removing the need for individual power adapters at each endpoint. The jump is worth it when deploying new PoE devices or simplifying cabling in locations without nearby mains outlets. It does not suit networks requiring full Gigabit to every port or advanced Layer 2 features.

Use the three Gigabit ports for devices that need higher throughput such as Wi‑Fi 6 access points or NAS units; the eight 10/100 Mbps ports are intended for cameras, VoIP phones or other PoE endpoints that do not exceed 100 Mbps.
The switch can deliver up to 30 W on any single PoE+ port, but the total draw across all eight powered ports must stay within 111 W, so you can run several cameras simultaneously as long as their combined consumption does not exceed that limit.
The unit is designed for desk or shelf mounting with no rack ears, so it fits in a wiring closet, on a shelf or under a desk where a compact, fanless switch is preferred.
