Compact Two-Pack Smart Plugs

The TP-LINK EP10P2 delivers two ultra-compact smart plugs that fit side-by-side on a standard outlet. Each unit connects to 2.4 GHz Wi-Fi and works with Alexa, Google Assistant and IFTTT without a separate hub. The UL-certified, flame-retardant shell adds a layer of safety for everyday appliances.

Upgrade From Single-Plug or Timer Units

Replacing a bulky single smart plug or a mechanical timer frees the second socket and adds remote control via the Kasa app. The jump is worthwhile when you want voice-activated schedules, away-mode simulation and group control for lamps, fans or seasonal lights without occupying both wall outlets.

Check Your Network and Outlet Layout

Verify the installation point has a 2.4 GHz Wi-Fi signal, as the plugs do not support 5 GHz bands. Ensure the outlet is indoors and within the router’s coverage area for reliable scheduling and remote access. A smartphone with the Kasa app is required for initial setup and ongoing management.

Questions about this item

Will the 72 mm width leave the second wall outlet free?

The ultra-mini body is only 72 mm wide so the adjacent socket remains usable.

Which app and Wi-Fi band are required for the first-time setup?

Install the Kasa Smart app, connect your phone to a 2.4 GHz network, then follow the in-app prompts to add each plug.

How often should I check the UL94-V0 flame-retardant shell and nickel-plated pins?

Inspect the housing and pins once a year for discolouration or looseness; replace the unit if either shows heat damage.
