2.4 GHz Wi-Fi Only with App-Dependent Setup

The plug communicates solely over a 2.4 GHz wireless band and requires the Smart Life app for initial pairing and ongoing control. Bluetooth on the phone is used during the first connection, but the device itself does not support 5 GHz networks, Ethernet or Thread. Scheduling, timers and remote access all depend on an active internet connection and the cloud service behind the app.

Replaces Manual Switching and Basic Timers

This unit upgrades from mechanical plug-in timers or simple on/off switches by adding voice activation, randomised away modes and countdown functions.
