48 Gigabit RJ45 ports and 6 10 Gbps SFP+ slots deliver 216 Gbps switching capacity with Layer 3 routing and stacking up to 864 Gbps
The TP-Link Omada SG6654X is a stackable Layer 3 managed switch built for convergence-layer networking. It delivers 48 gigabit RJ45 ports and six 10 Gbps SFP+ slots in a 1U form factor. The switch supports twisted pair and optical fibre connections for flexible deployment. It targets SMB, enterprise, and ISP environments requiring high-speed aggregation and routing.
A single unit provides 216 Gbps switching capacity to handle heavy access-layer traffic. Physical stacking of up to four units raises total capacity to 864 Gbps with built-in redundancy. The six 10 Gbps uplinks prevent bottlenecks when aggregating multiple gigabit links. Power draw is rated at 39.80 W under typical operation.
This switch replaces unmanaged or Layer 2-only gear when static routing, RIP, OSPF, ECMP, VRRP, DHCP services, or PIM-DM multicast are required. The jump is worth it when network growth demands hardware stacking for resilience and single-pane management. It is not for buyers who need Power over Ethernet on the 48 copper ports.

Yes, each RJ45 port auto-negotiates 10/100/1000 Mbps so legacy 10/100 endpoints plug in and work immediately.
Each SFP+ slot has a dedicated link/act LED that lights solid for link and blinks for activity at 10 Gbps.
The box contains the switch, dual redundant power supplies, rack-mount brackets and a console cable; SFP+ modules and stacking cables are sold separately.
