Compact 3-Pack Smart Plug

The TP-Link Tapo P125M is a three-pack of Matter-certified smart plugs in white. Each unit handles up to 15A and 1800W, fitting standard North American outlets without blocking the second socket. They connect via 2.4 GHz Wi-Fi and Bluetooth for setup, and work with Apple Home, Alexa, Google Home and SmartThings through the Matter standard.

Ideal for Multi-Room Voice Control

Renters and homeowners who want local LAN control that survives internet outages will benefit. The compact shape suits tight power strips and kitchen counters. Buyers needing energy-monitoring data, 5 GHz Wi-Fi, or hard-wired fixture control should look elsewhere.

Matter Over Thread and Wi-Fi

The single specification that decides fit is Matter certification over Wi-Fi and Thread. It guarantees the plugs appear natively in any certified platform without a vendor hub, and keeps automations running locally when the cloud is unreachable.

Questions about this item

How do I verify the Tapo P125M is working after setup?

Open the Tapo app or your chosen Matter platform (Apple Home, Alexa, Google Home, SmartThings) and confirm the plug shows online; then toggle the outlet — connected devices up to 1800 W should respond instantly.

What comes in the 3-pack box and what must I buy separately?

The box contains three Mini Smart Wi-Fi Plugs P125M and one Quick Start Guide; no extra hardware is required — just a 2.4 GHz Wi-Fi network and a smartphone for the initial Matter pairing.

Which version of the P125M should I choose for a 15 A circuit?

This 3-pack model is rated 15 A / 1800 W per plug, UL certified, and designed for standard North American outlets — select it when you need three compact, Matter-compatible plugs on 15 A circuits.
