Five-port Gigabit switch draws PoE++ input to power four PoE+ devices with up to 66 W budget and extends cable runs to 250 m
The TL-SG1005P-PD is an unmanaged desktop switch with five RJ45 ports operating at 10/100/1000 Mbps. It draws power from a single PoE++ input on port five and delivers PoE+ output on ports one through four. The metal casing supports desktop or wall mounting and runs without a fan for silent operation.
This switch suits installers who need to power cameras, access points or VoIP phones from a single upstream PoE++ link without a local mains outlet. It is not for networks that require VLANs, link aggregation or any managed features. Buyers who need AC or DC power input should look elsewhere because the unit only accepts PoE power.
Verify that your upstream PSE can supply 802.3bt Type 4 for the full 66 W budget, Type 3 for 47 W, 802.3at for 21 W or 802.3af for 9 W. Confirm that connected devices accept 802.3af/at PoE+ on the four output ports. Ensure cable lengths stay within 250 m when using Extend Mode for long-range deployments.

The upstream device must comply with IEEE 802.3bt Type 4 (90 W) on the PoE++ in port to enable the full 66 W output budget across ports 1–4.
Yes, each RJ45 port auto-negotiates 10, 100 or 1000 Mbps, so legacy 10/100 cameras will link at their rated speed while still receiving PoE+ power.
The front-panel LEDs show link/activity per port; solid green indicates a 1000 Mbps link and blinking confirms packet forwarding at the 7.44 Mpps switching capacity.
