Connects eight devices at up to 2.5Gbps each with a 40Gbps total capacity, auto-negotiating 100Mbps, 1Gbps or 2.5Gbps speeds over existing cables in a silent, fanless desktop or wall-mount design
The TL-SG108S-M2 provides eight 2.5Gbps Ethernet ports for desktop or wall-mounted use. It targets home offices, small teams and LAN-party hosts who want multi-gigabit speeds without managed complexity.
The switch delivers 40Gbps of non-blocking switching capacity across all eight ports. Each port auto-negotiates at 100Mbps, 1Gbps or 2.5Gbps, so existing Cat5e cabling can be used for the 2.5Gbps upgrade. Bandwidth runs out when aggregate traffic exceeds the 40Gbps fabric limit.
A fanless chassis keeps the unit completely silent in normal use. Passive cooling handles the heat generated by eight multi-gigabit ports without audible noise. Power draw scales with active link speed and cable length rather than a fixed maximum.
