A 19-inch rack-mountable switch with 24 PoE+ ports and a 250 W power budget for IP cameras and access points
The TP-Link TL-SG1428PE is a 19-inch 1U rack-mountable switch delivering 24 Gigabit RJ45 ports with PoE+ support and two additional Gigabit SFP uplink ports. It provides a total PoE power budget of 250 W across all powered ports, compliant with IEEE 802.3at and 802.3af standards. Management is handled through a web-based GUI or the Easy Smart Configuration Utility.
This switch fits small to medium business surveillance, wireless access point clusters, or VoIP phone systems where central power and VLAN segmentation are required. It supports up to 32 simultaneous VLANs, IGMP Snooping for IPTV optimisation, static link aggregation, and QoS with four priority queues. Buyers needing Layer 3 routing, full CLI access, or a higher PoE budget per port should look elsewhere.
The unit mounts in a standard 19-inch rack using the included kit or sits on a desktop with supplied rubber feet. Two SFP ports accept fiber modules for longer uplinks or inter-switch links, freeing the copper ports for endpoint devices. PoE Auto Recovery monitors powered devices and reboots unresponsive ports automatically. The switch operates from 100-240 V AC and draws 27 W without PoE load.

Use Cat5e or better Ethernet cables for each device; the switch draws 100-240V AC from the included power cord and supplies up to 250 W total PoE+ power across the 24 ports.
The SFP ports accept Gigabit fibre modules; for copper uplinks you can use the 26 RJ45 ports which auto-negotiate 10/100/1000 Mbps speeds with legacy gear.
Log into the web-based GUI or Easy Smart Configuration Utility to view real-time per-port PoE status, power consumption, and the PoE Auto Recovery logs.
