SKU CH-1CAF-EHP2S

24 PoE+ ports deliver up to 30 W each within a 250 W budget, plus two Gigabit and two SFP uplinks, managed through an easy smart interface

  • 24 PoE+ ports deliver up to 30W each for powering multiple devices
  • 250W total PoE budget supports high-density deployments without extra injectors
  • 2 dedicated Gigabit uplinks plus 2 SFP slots enable flexible high-speed backbone connections
  • Easy Smart web interface and utility simplify VLAN, QoS and LAG configuration
  • PoE Auto Recovery automatically reboots unresponsive powered devices to reduce downtime

Flexible 28-Port PoE+ Configuration

This 28-port Gigabit switch delivers 24 PoE+ ports compliant with 802.3at and 802.3af standards. Each port supplies up to 30W with a total power budget of 250W. Two additional Gigabit non-PoE ports and two SFP slots provide uplink flexibility for servers or fibre links.

Suited for IP camera or access point deployments

The switch fits installations that need centralised power for up to 24 PoE devices and simple web-based management. VLAN support allows traffic segmentation for security. Buyers who require a larger aggregate PoE budget or more than 28 total ports should consider a different model.

250W total PoE power budget

This figure determines how many simultaneous PoE+ devices the switch can support at full 30W per port. Calculate the combined draw of your cameras, phones or access points against this 250W limit to confirm the switch meets the deployment requirements.

Questions about this item

What cabling do I need for the 24 PoE+ RJ45 ports and the 2 SFP slots?

Use Cat5e or better copper cable for the 24 PoE+ RJ45 ports; insert compatible SFP transceivers and fibre patch cords into the 2 SFP slots.

Can I keep my older 10 Mbps and 100 Mbps devices on this 28-port switch?

Yes, the 24 PoE+ ports and 2 non-PoE ports all negotiate 10, 100 or 1000 Mbps, so legacy gear connects without adapters.

How do I confirm the 250 W PoE budget is delivering power to my devices?

Log into the web management interface; the PoE status page shows real-time power draw per port and the remaining budget of the 250 W pool.
