Purpose & Audience

This pair of black rubber clips secures the Tractive DOG 6 GPS tracker to a dog's collar or harness. The soft rubber material prevents irritation during daily wear. Designed specifically for the DOG 6 model, the clips hold the device firmly in place. Owners receive two mounts for a spare or a second collar.

Who It Suits & Who It Doesn't

Suits owners of the Tractive DOG 6 tracker who need a comfortable attachment for collars up to 2.8 cm wide. Not suited for owners of other Tractive models or different GPS brands. Buyers needing mounts for wider collars should look elsewhere. The clips are made only for the DOG 6 form factor.

Deciding Specification

The critical specification is the maximum collar width of 2.8 cm. If your dog's collar exceeds this measurement, the clips will not fit securely. The rubber clips measure 1.8034 cm by 5.7912 cm by 6.9088 cm and are moulded for the DOG 6 tracker body. Verify collar width before purchase.

Questions about this item

Will the rubber clips on this TRDOG5 mount wear out or need replacing over time?

The soft rubber is designed to resist irritation and hold securely; replacement is only needed if a clip is lost or physically damaged.

What is the widest collar the TRDOG5 clips can fit before they stop holding the tracker?

The clips fit collars up to 2.8 cm wide; beyond that width they cannot fasten the DOG 6 tracker securely.

Do the rubber clips add noticeable heat or bulk when the tracker runs all day on the dog?

At 1.8034 cm x 5.7912 cm x 6.9088 cm the clips are lightweight rubber, so they add no heat and minimal bulk during continuous wear.
