What the product is and who it's for

The Trademark Poker DP-SETOF2 is a set of two downspout wedges designed to prevent gutter clogs. They fit standard gutters and downspouts without requiring tools for installation. The self-cleaning sloped screen redirects debris away from the opening. Homeowners seeking a simple, maintenance-free solution for water flow management will find these suitable.

Behaviour under sustained load

The unique grid screen permits silt and sand to pass through while blocking larger debris. This design maintains drainage performance during prolonged rainfall without manual clearing. The self-cleaning feature keeps the sloped screen clear continuously as water flows over it. Made in the USA, the wedges are built to withstand ongoing exposure to the elements.

What this replaces and when the jump is worth it

These wedges replace the need for frequent manual gutter cleaning or basic screens that trap fine sediment. The upgrade is worth it when downspouts clog regularly with leaves and debris. They are not suited for gutters with non-standard dimensions or for collectors who need to capture all runoff sediment.

Questions about this item

Does the wedge itself generate any noise or heat while it sits in the downspout all day?

No, the Trademark Poker DP-SETOF2 has no moving parts or power source, so it runs silently and produces no heat during continuous use.

What existing gutter or downspout size must I already have for these wedges to fit?

The set is designed for standard gutters and downspouts, so your current openings must match common residential dimensions for a proper fit.

Will the self-cleaning screen still let fine silt and sand through if I keep my older metal downspouts?

Yes, the unique grid screen is engineered to pass silt and sand while blocking larger debris, regardless of the downspout material.
