Thermal protection for phones

The Transcend Thermal Phone Case Grey is a lightweight insulated pouch that shields smartphones from temperature extremes during outdoor activities. It is designed for campers, hikers, skiers and anyone who needs their device to remain functional in hot sun or freezing conditions. The case helps maintain battery performance when ambient temperatures would otherwise cause rapid drain or shutdown.

Simple slip-in installation

The pouch weighs 0.02 kg and measures 7.8 X 4.1 inch, so it fits easily into a pack or pocket without adding bulk. You simply slide the phone inside; there are no straps, zippers or adhesives to manage. The main limitation is that the fixed dimensions mean larger handsets or phones in thick protective shells may not fit, so check your device size before relying on it in the field.

Rated for -5 to 40 conditions

The applicable temperature range of -5 to 40 defines the environments where the insulation is effective. The filling uses 90% white goose down to regulate heat flow, keeping the phone cooler in direct sun and warmer in sub-zero air. If your activities routinely exceed this range, the case cannot guarantee the same level of battery-life extension or device protection.

How can I confirm the thermal phone case is regulating my phone's temperature properly after I start using it outdoors?

After placing your phone inside the pouch during outdoor use, check that the device does not overheat in direct sunlight or shut down in freezing conditions, and verify that standby time remains longer than it would without the case across the -5 to 40 applicable temperature range.

Which version or capacity of this thermal phone case should I choose for my device?

This model is offered in a single grey version sized at 7.8 by 4.1 inches with 90% white goose down filling, designed to fit a wide range of phones including iPhone, Galaxy, Pixel, Microsoft, LG, Motorola, Kyocera, and HTC devices, so no capacity or variant selection is required.
