  • Compact 39.7 × 20.7 × 26.1 mm body fits flush in the socket
  • Black finish matches most vehicle interiors
  • DC adapter plugs directly into standard lighter socket

Transcend Dual USB Car Adapter

The Transcend TS-DPL3 plugs into a vehicle lighter socket and provides two USB ports for charging phones, tablets or other devices. A 315 inch cable gives flexible placement from the dashboard to rear seats. Compact dimensions of 1.56 by .815 by 1.03 inches keep the unit unobtrusive.

For single-socket vehicles needing two ports

Drivers who want to charge two devices simultaneously from one lighter outlet will find this adapter convenient. Vehicles that already offer multiple USB ports or owners who require fast-charging protocols not listed here should consider other solutions.

315 inch integrated cable length

The fixed 8 metre cable determines how far the adapter can reach from the power socket. Installations needing a shorter tether or a detachable cable will not match this design.

Questions about this item

What limits total charging speed when both ports are used on the TS-DPL3?

The adapter splits available current between its two USB ports, so simultaneous charging runs slower than single-port use.

How warm does the TS-DPL3 get during a full day of driving?

The compact black housing stays at a low temperature because it only passes power without active circuitry.

Which cable must I already have to charge my phone with the TS-DPL3?

You need your device's own USB charging cable; the kit supplies only the adapter and an 8 m power lead.
