The 1.64 mm backplate thickness enables wireless charging compatibility while maintaining structural rigidity. Raised edges of 1.5 mm at the camera and 2 mm at the screen guard direct impacts away from glass surfaces.

Questions about this item

Will the 1.64 mm backplate thickness let me use MagSafe car mounts and card holders?

Yes, the 1.64 mm backplate is designed for MagSafe accessory compatibility including magnetic car mounts and card holders.

How do I set the aluminum kickstand to the 57° landscape viewing angle?

Open the reinforced hinge until it locks at the 57° detent; the hinge clicks at each preset position.

The drop rating mentions 4.5 m and MIL-STD-810H-516.8 — do the corner airbags need replacement after a hard impact?

The corner airbags are moulded into the TPU frame and are not replaceable; inspect the case after any 4.5 m drop and replace the whole case if cracked.
