The module operates at Fast Ethernet speeds and supports a maximum reach of 1.24 Mile over multimode fibre.

Slot-mounted module requiring an SFP cage

This transceiver fits any standard SFP slot on a managed switch, router or media converter that accepts 100Base-FX optics. It draws power directly from the host port and needs no external supply, freeing rack space and eliminating a separate power brick.
