It replaces individual AC adapters with a single AC 100/240 V power connection.

Capacity and headroom

The chassis accepts any combination of Layer 1 100Base and 1000Base Mini media converters alongside Layer 2 10/100 and 10/100/1000 models with barrel-type DC inputs. It comfortably handles dense deployments where 18 conversion points are needed within 1.5U of rack space. The unit runs out of capacity when a project demands more than 18 Mini converters or requires hardened-grade converter support not designed for this office-grade chassis.
