Compact compass carabiner for outdoor use

This two-in-one accessory combines a magnetic compass with a twist-lock carabiner clip. It is designed for hikers, campers, and scouts who want a navigational aid that attaches securely to a belt loop or backpack strap. The small grey unit fits easily on a keyring or inside a pocket.

Pocket-sized utility with basic directional aid

The compass measures 2.7 by 1.2 by .7 inches, making it small enough to carry everywhere without adding bulk. It provides a simple north reference when held level and flat, suitable for general orientation on trails or at camp. It does not offer advanced navigation features such as declination adjustment or a sighting mirror.

Aluminium alloy body with twist-lock gate

The housing is made from high-strength aluminium alloy chosen for rust and corrosion resistance in all weather conditions. A twist-lock carabiner gate keeps the unit clipped to gear until deliberately released, reducing the chance of accidental loss during active movement. The metal construction withstands regular outdoor handling.

Questions about this item

Will the small grey carabiner clip fit through the strap loops on my older daypack?

The clip measures 2.7 inch by 1.2 inch by .7 inch, so it slides through most standard strap loops on older daypacks.

How do I know the compass needle is settling correctly after I attach it to my bag?

Hold the unit level and flat; the arrow will rotate on its own and point north when it has settled.

Does the two-piece set include a separate key-ring or lanyard, or is the twist-lock carabiner the only attachment?

The pack contains two compass units, each with its own integrated twist-lock carabiner; no extra key-ring or lanyard is supplied.
