Dual-Band RP-SMA Antenna Pair

This two-piece antenna set connects to any RP-SMA male port and covers the 2.4 GHz and 5.8 GHz bands used by WiFi 6 devices. The 3 dBi omnidirectional gain is designed for routers, PCIe cards, USB adapters and FPV video links that need a compact right-angle form factor.

Upgrade from Fixed or Lower-Gain Whips

Replace stubby fixed antennas or older 2 dBi models when signal must reach through walls or across a workshop; the jump is worth it when the host device already supports 802.11 b/g/n/ac/ax and the connector matches RP-SMA male.

Build Integration and Clearance

The right-angle hinge lets the whip sit parallel to a motherboard I/O shield or router chassis, saving vertical space in tight enclosures. Each antenna presents a 50 ohm load and requires no extra cabling, power or driver support beyond the host radio’s existing WiFi 6 stack.

Questions about this item

What connector does the RP-SMA Male Right Angle antenna use to attach?

Each antenna has an RP-SMA male connector that threads into a matching RP-SMA female jack on your router, PCIe card or USB adapter.

How do I install the dual-band antennas and what step is often missed?

Screw each antenna onto its RP-SMA port by hand until snug, then rotate the right-angle hinge so the whip points vertically for best omnidirectional coverage.

When should I replace these 3 dBi omnidirectional antennas?

Replace them if the RP-SMA threads are damaged, the whip is bent or cracked, or signal drops noticeably on 2.4 GHz and 5 GHz bands.
