On OM4 fibre the module reaches 550 m, on OM3 it stops at 300 m, on OM2 at 82 m and on OM1 at 33 m. Beyond those distances the signal drops below the 10.5 Gbps throughput ceiling, so longer spans need a different wavelength or single-mode hardware.

Hot-Swap LC Build with Live Diagnostics
