A hardened industrial Gigabit PoE+ switch with four powered ports, one SFP slot, 120 Watt power budget and -40 to 70 °C operation
Style Industrial Managed Layer
The TRENDnet TI-PG541 is a hardened unmanaged switch built for industrial environments. It provides four Gigabit PoE+ ports, one Gigabit port, and one SFP slot with a 120 Watt power budget. The IP30 metal enclosure operates from -40 to 70 degrees Celsius and supports DIN-rail or wall mounting for harsh conditions.
This switch fits installations needing reliable power and data to cameras or access points in factories, transport, or outdoor sites. The wide temperature range and vibration resistance meet industrial demands. Buyers needing managed features like VLAN configuration, SNMP monitoring, or redundant ring protocols should look at managed alternatives.
The total 120 Watt budget delivers up to 30 Watts per port across the four PoE+ interfaces. This capacity determines how many high-draw devices such as PTZ cameras or heated enclosures can connect simultaneously. The required 48 V DC power adapter is sold separately and must be sourced to activate the PoE function.

Clip the integrated DIN-rail bracket onto a standard 35 mm rail until it locks; the step often missed is connecting both 48 V DC redundant power inputs (adapters sold separately) so the alarm relay can monitor for power failure.
No fan or filter exists; periodically check that the IP30 metal enclosure vents stay clear of dust, verify the dual 48 V DC power feeds remain secure, and confirm the alarm output wiring is intact for power-loss notification.
The 120 W PoE power budget caps total output at 30 W per port across ports 1–4; once that budget is reached the switch cannot supply more power even though the 12 Gbps switching capacity remains available.
