House of 1000 Corpses Professor figure

This officially licensed 5-inch action figure depicts The Professor from Rob Zombie's House of 1000 Corpses. It features an axe-ripping action mechanism that activates during play or display. The figure arrives in retro-style packaging with backing card art by Dug Nation. It is aimed at horror-film collectors and fans of the movie franchise.

Build quality and daily handling

The figure stands over five inches tall and is sculpted by Alexander Ray and Dug Nation with detailed portrait work. Each unit includes one piece of the Tiny Firefly build-a-figure, encouraging collectors to acquire multiple characters to complete the extra figure. The retro blister-card packaging protects the item while allowing shelf display without opening.

Upgrade path and collector fit

This release replaces earlier generic horror figures with a screen-accurate Professor sculpt and a unique action feature. The jump is worth it for buyers who want the specific axe-ripping gimmick and the Tiny Firefly build-a-figure parts. Collectors who do not need the action mechanism or the build-a-figure component may find simpler display figures sufficient.

Questions about this item

What scale is the 5 inch Professor figure and does it match other 1000 Corpses releases?

The Professor stands over 5 inches tall and shares the same scale as the rest of the House of 1000 Corpses line so the Tiny Firefly build-a-figure parts fit together.

What physical feature must the shelf accommodate for this figure?

The retro-style blister card packaging is part of the collector presentation so you need enough vertical clearance for the sealed backing card.

How do you activate the Axe Rippin' Action without forcing the joint?

Gently rotate the Professor's arm at the shoulder socket until the spring-loaded axe swing engages; forcing the elbow or wrist can snap the internal mechanism.
