The Trine TR004 is a satin brass electric strike built for light commercial access control. It fits wood jambs and works with locksets that have individual deadbolts and a 5/8 inch throw on an 1/8 inch door gap. Deadbolts cannot be released electrically, so manual operation is still required for the bolt. Installers get a direct replacement unit with a powder coated finish.

Capacity and headroom for access control

Rated at 500000 life cycles, the strike handles repeated daily traffic in offices or shared entrances. Holding force reaches 1000 lbs, keeping the door secure against forced entry attempts. The cavity measures 1/2 inch deep by 9/16 inch wide by 1-1/2 inches high, so the mortise pocket must match these dimensions exactly. Larger bolts or deeper cavities will not fit this model.

Voltage interface limits

Operation requires 8 to 16 VAC from a compatible transformer or power supply. The face plate dimensions are 6-1/4 inch by 1-3/8 inch with a 2-3/4 inch backset, fixing the cutout size in the jamb. Deadbolt knockouts at top and bottom measure 1-11/16 inch by 9/16 inch, limiting which locksets can be used. No DC or higher voltage input is supported.
