Tripp Lite 606 clamp surge protector 2100 joules USB keepsake

Desk-mounted surge protection

The Tripp Lite TLP606DMUSB clamps to a desk, workbench or table and provides six AC outlets plus two USB charging ports for smartphones, tablets and similar devices. A six-foot cord reaches the wall socket while the matte-black housing stays fixed at the edge of the work surface. A diagnostic LED warns when the suppressor can no longer protect connected equipment.

Clamp mount and outlet layout

Two knobs secure the strip to surfaces of varying thickness, keeping plugs accessible and cables off the floor. Four standard outlets sit alongside two wider-spaced outlets that accommodate bulky power adapters without blocking neighbours. The USB ports share a fast-charging circuit so mobile devices charge at full speed without a separate wall wart.

2100 joule rating and line filtering

The unit absorbs up to 2100 joules of transient energy and filters line noise that can degrade audio, video or data signals. In normal office use the suppressor runs silently and draws no measurable power beyond the attached loads. The LED remains green while protection is active, giving a quick visual check without extra software or tools.
