Questions about this item

Does the B119-4X2-4KL include the IR remote or must it be purchased separately?

The unit ships with an IR remote control for distance switching; no separate purchase is needed for basic operation.

Should I choose this matrix for two 4K displays or for a single 1080p setup?

It supports two independent 4K outputs up to 4096 x 2160 and also handles 1080p signals, so it covers both scenarios.

What does the 4096 x 2160 rating mean when I connect a laptop and a gaming console?

Each of the two HDMI outputs can deliver that full 4K resolution, letting the laptop and console drive separate displays at maximum detail.
