Signal extension for 8K and 4K displays

The Tripp Lite B122-000-8K6 is an HDMI signal booster that extends 8K resolution at 60 Hz and 4K resolution at 120 Hz over distances up to 10 metres. It supports 4:4:4 chroma subsampling and HDR10+ for full colour fidelity. The unit uses a female-to-female connector layout for inline installation between source and display. It is suited to installers and AV integrators who need reliable long-run performance.

Sustained throughput without compression

Under continuous operation the extender maintains the rated bandwidth for 8K 60 Hz and 4K 120 Hz signals without introducing compression artefacts or latency spikes. The passive design requires no external power supply, so heat output remains negligible during extended use. It does not add processing such as scaling or frame interpolation, preserving the original timing. Users who require active equalisation for runs beyond 10 metres or support for higher refresh rates at 8K will need a different solution.
