The BPDIN24XL is a 24 V DC extended battery module designed for Eaton DIN24240DC and DIN24480DC UPS systems. It supplies additional runtime for industrial, process, automation and machine control enclosures. The unit is sold new and ready for integration into compatible DC power protection setups.

DIN-Rail Mounting and Daisy-Chain Limits

Installation uses a built-in clamp that secures the module to a standard 35 mm top-hat DIN rail without screws or brackets. A daisy-chain connector permits linking up to four EBMs in total, defining the maximum scalable configuration for a single UPS system. No other mounting method or expansion topology is supported by this module.

Runtime Scaling and Capacity Boundaries

Each added module increases available backup time for the connected UPS, allowing the system to sustain loads longer during power interruptions. Runtime grows with each daisy-chained unit until the four-module limit is reached, after which no further extension is possible.
