Vertical 2-Port Decora Insert

This Tripp Lite centre plate insert fits a standard Decora opening and provides two vertical ports for audio or video connections. It is intended for installers and homeowners who want a clean, flush-mounted finish on a wall or panel. The white ABS construction matches common Decora devices and covers.

Simple flush installation

The insert mounts flush into an existing Decora cut-out using the two supplied mounting screws. No specialised tools are required beyond a screwdriver. The main issue arises when the wall opening is not a true Decora size or when the mounting ears on the back box are damaged, preventing the plate from sitting flat.

Two ports for basic connectivity

The unit offers exactly two vertical ports, suitable for a pair of keystone jacks, couplers or blank inserts. It handles typical residential or light-commercial patching needs such as HDMI, USB or speaker terminals. It cannot accommodate three or more connections in a single gang, so larger distributions require additional plates.

Questions about this item

How can I verify the Decora wall plate insert is properly installed and working?

After mounting, press each keystone jack firmly into the two vertical ports until they click; cables should seat securely with no wobble, confirming the flush-mount plate is functioning as intended.

What comes in the package and what must I purchase separately?

The box contains the white ABS centre plate insert and two mounting screws; keystone modules for HDMI, Ethernet or other signals are sold separately.

Which version of this Tripp Lite insert should I choose for my installation?

This single model is a vertical 2-port Decora-style plate in white; select it when you need exactly two flush-mounted keystone openings in a standard Decora cut-out.
