Reliable power distribution

The Tripp Lite L11711 power strip delivers nine NEMA 5-15R outlets for connecting appliances, power tools, lighting and other electrical equipment to a single 120 V AC wall socket. Its 15-foot 14-gauge cord and rugged metal case suit workshops, server rooms and home offices where durable corded power distribution is needed. One end-mounted outlet accommodates a transformer without blocking adjacent receptacles. An illuminated switch with a transparent cover prevents accidental shutoff.

Capacity and headroom

The 15 A integrated circuit breaker protects the strip at 120 V, 50/60 Hz, so the total connected load must stay within that rating. Nine outlets provide plenty of connection points for typical bench gear, but high-draw devices such as large heaters or multiple power tools can trip the breaker if their combined current exceeds 15 A. The metal housing withstands demanding environments, yet the strip offers no surge suppression components beyond the breaker.
