It supports bi-directional Gigabit Ethernet communication up to 1.25 Gbps over distances up to 328 feet (100 meters). Network administrators can add copper ports without shutting down the network.

MSA-Compliant Build with Bail Clasp

The module is MSA-compliant and manufactured to meet or exceed Cisco GLC-TE specifications for functional equivalence. An RJ45 connector accepts standard Cat6 patch cables while the SFP end plugs directly into the switch. A bail clasp latch secures the transceiver and assists removal during maintenance.
