Tripp Lite NPOE-EXT-1G30WP Gigabit PoE Extender 30W 100m Pro Sound

30W Gigabit PoE Extender

The Tripp Lite NPOE-EXT-1G30WP delivers 30 watts of power and Gigabit data up to 328.08 feet over existing Cat5e, Cat6, or Cat6a cabling. It targets installers who need to place PoE or PoE+ devices such as wireless access points or IP cameras where no AC outlet exists. The IP65-rated aluminum housing resists water spray from all directions for outdoor or industrial use.

Replaces mid-span injectors and long cable pulls

Instead of running new electrical circuits or accepting the 100-meter copper limit, this unit extends both power and data in a single step. Cascading up to four extenders pushes the total reach to 1640 feet, making the jump worthwhile when the endpoint sits beyond standard Ethernet range but within the 500-meter cascade ceiling. It avoids the cost and delay of trenching or conduit work.

Sustained load behavior

The sealed aluminum enclosure passively dissipates heat while maintaining the IP65 seal during continuous 30-watt delivery. Gigabit throughput holds at 1000 Mbps across the full 100-meter segment without throttling. Water-resistant covers protect the RJ-45 ports from ingress during prolonged exposure to driven rain or wash-down conditions.
