Red heavy-duty C20-to-C19 power cord, 6 ft 12 AWG

Tripp Lite

Tripp Lite P036-006-ARD video accessory C20 to C19 20A 250V 12 AWG 6 ft 1.8 m Red

SKU CH-QAQQ-18AKV MPN P036-006-ARD

Heavy-duty 12 AWG power extension cord with C20 to C19 connectors rated 20A at 250V for servers and network gear, 6 ft (1.8 m) red jacket for quick rack identification

  • Heavy-duty 12 AWG wire handles 20 A at 250 V for high-power server gear
  • Red PVC jacket enables fast visual identification in dense rack or PDU environments
  • C20 to C19 connectors replace or upgrade the standard cord on network devices
  • Six-foot (1.8 m) length gives flexible placement relative to the AC outlet
  • UL-listed construction meets safety requirements for demanding data-centre applications

Heavy-Duty Power Extension Cord

This 6 ft extension cord connects C20 inlets to C19 outlets with a 20A, 250V rating and 12 AWG conductors. The red PVC jacket helps identify the cable in dense rack environments. It is built for servers, routers, switches and blade enclosures that need a heavier-gauge connection to a UPS or PDU.

Suited For High-Draw Network Gear

Ideal for data-centre equipment that requires a 20A C19 feed and benefits from colour-coded cable management. Not appropriate for devices limited to lower-amperage inlets or for runs that exceed the provided length. Also unsuitable where a different connector type or a non-red jacket is mandated by site standards.

20A C20-to-C19 With 12 AWG Conductors

The single deciding specification is the 20A, 250V rating on 12 AWG wire with C20 and C19 ends. If the target hardware demands this exact amperage and connector pairing, the cord fits; otherwise a different gauge or connector combination is required.

Questions about this item

Will the 12 AWG conductors need replacement after a certain period?

The 12 AWG conductors are built for continuous heavy-duty use and do not have a scheduled replacement interval under normal conditions.

What limits continuous 20 A operation over long runs?

The 12 AWG gauge is rated for the full 20 A at 250 V; the 6 ft length keeps voltage drop negligible for sustained loads.

Does the red PVC jacket get hot or add resistance when the cord carries 20 A all day?

The jacket is rated for the 20 A load and remains within safe temperature limits; it does not increase resistance or generate audible noise.
