Product identity

The Tripp Lite P047-006 is a 6 ft heavy duty power interconnect cable with IEC 60320 C19 and C14 connectors. It uses 3 x 14 AWG copper conductors and carries a 100 to 250 V AC, 15 A rating. The cable suits data centres and server rooms needing reliable high current links.

Build integration

Fully molded ends provide secure connections between PDUs, UPS units and rack mounted equipment. The six foot length allows flexible routing inside cabinets without excess slack. RoHS compliance and a green design meet environmental standards for modern infrastructure deployments.

Buyer fit

This cable fits administrators who need a C19 to C14 link at 15 A capacity. Buyers requiring a different connector combination, a longer reach or a higher amperage rating should look at alternative power cords.

Questions about this item

What is the current limit of the 14 AWG conductors during continuous operation?

The cable is rated for 15 A at 100-250 V AC, which is the maximum sustained current the 14 AWG copper conductors can carry.

Does the fully molded construction affect heat buildup when the cable runs at 15 A all day?

The fully molded IEC 60320 C19 and C14 ends and 14 AWG copper conductors are designed to handle the rated 15 A continuously without exceeding safe temperature limits.

Which IEC 60320 inlet must my equipment already have to accept the C14 plug on this cable?

Your device or PDU must provide a C13 inlet; the C14 plug on this cable mates only with a C13 receptacle.
