HDMI Female Coupler

This keystone coupler joins two HDMI cables to extend a digital audio-video run. It is designed for installers and AV integrators who need a tidy, panel-mounted connection point in wallplates, podiums or kiosks. The moulded gold-plated contacts preserve signal integrity across the link. RoHS compliance and a lifetime warranty back the build quality.

Keystone and Panel Mounting

The all-in-one body snaps into a standard keystone cutout without tools, and the included adapter lets the same unit mount in a flat panel or podium surface. No extra brackets or soldering are required, freeing rack space and keeping cable runs accessible for maintenance. The black finish blends with typical AV furniture and wallplates.

Signal Extension Limits

The coupler comfortably handles high-definition video and audio pass-through for typical room-scale installations. Beyond very long combined cable lengths the signal may degrade, so runs approaching the practical HDMI distance limit should be tested before final installation. For runs that exceed reliable passive reach, an active extender or fibre solution becomes necessary.

Questions about this item

What is the maximum HDMI cable length this coupler can reliably extend before signal loss becomes the limiting factor?

The coupler joins two HDMI cables with gold-plated female ports, so total reach depends on the cable quality you use rather than a built-in limit.

Does the coupler generate any heat or noise when installed behind a wall plate for continuous all-day use?

It is a passive connector with no electronics, so it produces no heat and makes no sound during constant operation.

What mounting hardware must I already have to install this keystone coupler in a standard wall plate?

You need a standard keystone wall plate or panel cut-out; the coupler snaps in and the included panel-mount adapter fits podium or kiosk openings.
