HDMI keystone coupler for 8K installs

This female-to-female keystone coupler snaps into a wall plate or panel to join two HDMI cables into a single longer run. It is built for 8K cabling while remaining backward compatible with earlier HDMI generations. Installers and AV integrators can extend connections without purchasing a single long cable.

Sustained 8K 60 Hz signal integrity

The coupler maintains 7680 x 4320 resolution at 60 Hz with 36-bit Deep Color and 4:4:4 chroma subsampling across the extended link. HDCP 1.4 and 2.2 compliance ensures protected content passes without interruption during continuous playback. Gold-plated contacts minimise data loss over the full session.

Passive thermal and power profile

As a passive component the coupler draws no power and generates no heat or noise in normal use. The PVC and ABS housing with gold-plated contacts operates silently inside a wall plate, podium or kiosk without active cooling. No external supply or fan is required.

Questions about this item

Will the coupler add heat or noise when running an 8K 60 Hz signal all day?

The passive keystone coupler has no active electronics, so it generates no heat and makes no noise regardless of how long the 7680 x 4320 60 Hz stream passes through.

What cables must I already own for this keystone jack to work?

You need two HDMI cables with male connectors; the unit provides female HDMI ports on both sides and a panel-mount adapter for the keystone cut-out.

Will my older 4K HDMI gear work through this 8K-rated coupler without quality loss?

Yes, the coupler is backward compatible with earlier HDMI generations and supports HDCP 1.4 and 2.2, so existing 4K sources and displays connect normally.
