Cable Management for Installers

This ten-pack of hook-and-loop ties keeps cable bundles organised in server racks, network cabinets or desktop builds. Each black tie measures ten inches long and five-eighths of an inch wide, giving enough length to wrap typical patch-cord groups. The reusable fastener avoids the waste of single-use plastic zip ties. Technicians can open and close the strap repeatedly without tools.

Bundle Capacity and Limits

The strap secures bundles up to three inches in diameter, which covers most Cat5 and Cat6 patch-cable groups and standard power cords. Larger trunk cables or thick fibre bundles will exceed the usable circumference. Over-tightening is prevented by the hook-and-loop surface, so conductors are not crimped. When a bundle grows beyond the three-inch limit, a second tie or a wider strap becomes necessary.

Reusable Build and Daily Use

The hook-and-loop material stays flexible after hundreds of open-close cycles, and the pull-tab release lets you undo the tie with one finger. No cutting tools are needed, so there is no risk of nicking cable jackets during maintenance. The ties lay flat when not in use, taking minimal space in a tool bag. Installers who prefer permanent, tamper-proof fastening will find these ties too easy to release.
