13-outlet 1U rack PDU

The Tripp Lite PDU1215 distributes 120 volt AC power across thirteen NEMA 5-15R outlets in a 1U metal chassis. It accepts a single NEMA 5-15P input and includes a fifteen-foot cord for flexible placement in server rooms or network closets.

15 amp 120 volt capacity

The unit delivers a continuous 15 amp rating at 120 volts and operates on 50 or 60 hertz mains. A built-in 15 amp circuit breaker protects connected equipment, while the unfiltered pass-through design suits alternate waveform UPS or generator sources without adding switching losses.

19 inch multi-mount format

Detachable flanges allow 1U rackmount, 0U cable-tray mounting, wallmount or under-counter installation in a housing only 4.5 inches deep. All twelve rear outlets face backward for tidy cable routing, and the front-facing outlet adds convenient temporary access without consuming rear space.

Questions about this item

Will the 120V 15A PDU1215 share a circuit with my existing 120V gear without tripping the 15 amp breaker?

The PDU1215 draws up to 15 A from a single NEMA 5-15R wall receptacle, so total load on that circuit must stay at or below 15 A to avoid tripping the built-in breaker.

How do I verify the PDU1215 is delivering power to all 13 NEMA 5-15R outlets after rack-mounting it?

Plug a known-good device into each of the 12 rear and one front outlet; if every device powers on, the unfiltered pass-through and circuit breaker are functioning.

Does the PDU1215 ship with the 15 ft input cord attached and the detachable mounting flanges for 1U or 0U 19 in rack install?

Yes, the 15 ft NEMA 5-15P cord is fixed, and the box includes detachable flanges with pre-punched holes for 1U, 0U, wall or under-counter mounting.
