A metered PDU with 14 outlets, 3840-joule Isobar surge suppression and a built-in amp meter for 120 V, 20 A circuits
The Tripp Lite PDUMH20-ISO combines a 14-outlet metered power distribution unit with Isobar surge suppression in a single rack-mount chassis. It suits server rooms and network closets that need real-time load monitoring and surge protection for rack-mounted equipment. The built-in two-digit ammeter displays current draw continuously. IT administrators managing 120 V single-phase loads up to 16 A continuous will find the integrated metering and protection convenient.
Twelve 5-15/20R outlets and two 5-15R outlets provide flexible connections for mixed plug types. At 120 V the unit delivers 1.92 kW with a 16 A continuous rating, while 127 V operation supports 2.03 kW and 100 V supports 1.6 kW. The 20 A maximum input is agency de-rated to 16 A continuous, so sustained loads above that level will trip the breaker. The 15-foot cord with NEMA 5-20P and L5-20P plugs reaches distant power sources.
The Isobar suppression system provides 3840 joules of surge energy absorption with a 140 V RMS clamping voltage across H-N, N-G and H-G protection modes. EMI/RFI noise filtering ranges from 40 to 80 dB to clean incoming power. The unit operates silently with no moving parts, drawing negligible power for the meter circuitry. It meets UL1449 3rd Edition and CSA standards for safe operation in commercial environments.

The 15 ft cord ends in a NEMA 5-20P plug; a NEMA L5-20P variant is also offered, so you can match the receptacle on your current rack PDU or wall outlet without extra adapters.
The two-digit visual meter shows live load in amps; if it displays a reading when equipment is powered on, the metering circuit is working, and the green protection LED indicates the 3840 joule Isobar suppression is active.
The box contains the metered PDU with surge suppression and the owner's manual with warranty information; mounting brackets and any IEC or NEMA cables for connected devices must be purchased separately.
