The Tripp Lite PDUMV15NETLX is a 1.4 kW single-phase switched power distribution unit designed for 19.0-inch EIA-standard racks. Its 0U vertical form factor mounts without consuming rack units. Sixteen individually controllable NEMA 5-15R outlets distribute AC power to connected networking or optical network equipment. A NEMA 5-15P input plug on a 10.0-foot cord draws up to 15A from 100V, 120V or 127V sources.

Sustained load monitoring and remote control

A built-in digital ammeter provides real-time on-site load monitoring during continuous operation. The integrated LX Platform interface enables 24/7 remote access for outlet switching and power management over the network. Broad communications compatibility supports managed operation across varied infrastructure. The unit operates at 50/60Hz output frequency within 5 to 95% relative humidity and up to 3000 metres elevation.

Replaces basic unmanaged power strips

This PDU replaces non-switched power strips that lack per-outlet control and remote monitoring. The jump is worth it when administrators need to reboot individual devices, sequence startup or track current draw on each of the 16 outlets without physical access.
